Financial Advisor - Bilingual (Spanish)

Job Description

Looking for highly motivated bilingual (Spanish) financial advisor to partner with existing financial advisor to work with our credit union members in the Southern New Hampshire region. This is an ideal role for someone who has a passion for developing, maintaining, and deepening relationships with new and existing credit union members while engaging and listening to understand their needs, life events and financial aspirations.

We’re looking for people who are self-disciplined with the ability to work effectively and independently, have a positive attitude and a willingness to be accountable for results. Must be organized, detail-oriented and excellent time-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with financial advisor to develop a business plan, manage a client base, and drive to regional goals and objectives.
  • Maintain and leverage a deep understanding of all accounts/distributors.
  • Make proactive telephone calls to an assigned client base; Answer and convert inbound calls from the territory into additional opportunities to drive sales.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners.
  • Prioritize and manage daily, weekly, and monthly workload.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the product portfolio features and benefits; Sell solutions provided by the products.
  • Travel within territory to conduct one-on-one meetings and/or to deliver presentations.
  • This is a sales position with an initial monthly guarantee, competitive commission, allowances and benefits.

Required Qualifications

  • College degree.
  • Life, A&H license
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships.
  • Sales experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial services industry, financial sales or financial wholesaling.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to help people
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • High energy.

Series 6, Series 63 or Series 7, and Series 65 or the ability to obtain within a defined period of time
