We are looking for representatives to build their businesses in the following locations:

  • Hyannis, MA
  • Warwick, RI

A successful Financial Services Representative will be trained to:

  • Assess a client’s overall financial picture, and understand their needs to devise an appropriate financial plan.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, keeping them updated about any changes affecting their finances. Establishing connections with others is necessary in both the networking and client retention aspects of this career. Similarly, clients must trust that their financial planner has their best interests in mind.
  • Prepare financial and business related analysis and research.
  • Implement financial planning recommendations.
  • Determine clients' current income, expenses, insurance coverage, tax status, financial objectives, risk tolerance, and other information needed to develop a financial plan.
  • Monitor market trends.
  • Make recommendations in areas such as insurance coverage, investment planning, estate planning, and business planning solutions.
  • Review clients' accounts and plans regularly to determine life changes that would affect financial strategy.
  • Convene with clients' other advisors, including attorneys, accountants, trust officers, and investment bankers, to fully understand clients' financial goals and circumstances.

Training & Development

New associates in the program will receive high-performance coaching and mentoring from some of the industry’s top planners and specialists. This includes:

  • Immersion into the firm’s unique planning process
  • One-on-one skillset development and sales best practices
  • Joint work with Senior Partners and CFG management
  • Courses with estate and tax planning attorneys on staff
  • Specialists in business succession planning, insurance and investments
  • Consultation with the case design center and business valuation department
  • Step-by-step support from CFG and its Fortune 100 partners

Prerequisites & Qualifications

Previous experience in Financial Services is not required. However, the right candidates will meet the following eligibility guidelines for consideration:

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing or entrepreneurship
  • An entrepreneurial spirit
  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to help people
  • Individual integrity with respect for the team
