Junior Partner

Several Senior Partners at Commonwealth Financial Group are looking to add a valued member to their team in order to responsibly grow their practices.

The key to a successful partnership is complementary skill sets and aligned professional goals. We take coordination of these partnerships very seriously and are continuously searching for advisors that will be a good match to one of our Senior Partners.


We are looking for Junior Partners in the following locations:

  • Boston, MA
  • Bedford, NH
  • Warwick, RI

Prerequisites & Qualifications

The right candidates will meet the following eligibility guidelines for consideration:

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years of financial planning experience
  • Fully licensed (life, health, 7 & 66)
  • Willingness to learn a new planning methodology and mesh best practices
  • Individual integrity with respect for the team

Training

Each advisor's practice is unique to them, and at CFG we recognize the value of training all new Junior Partners on the basics of the business. We encourage new associates to attend our in-depth training program to ensure they are prepared to add the most value to the Senior Advisor's practice.

Skill Sets

For a partnership to succeed, CFG is looking for a Junior Partner that has skill sets that complement the Senior Partner. It’s important to understand the business model of the senior advisor and grow to recognize each partner’s strengths to most effectively leverage them. The right candidate for this role will take the time to learn from the Senior Partner to ensure the success of the relationship.

A Day in th Life

As a Junior Partner, you will be tasked with much of the Senior Partner's daily operational activities, most importantly, client service. It is important to foster existing relationships as well as cultivate new relationships as referrals are brought into the practice. Still needing to maintain an entrepreneurial spirit, this role varies slightly from a stand alone financial services professional, as you will be actively working with the Senior Advisors’ current client base.
