Prior to joining Bush & Company in 2015, Drake was a Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo Bank in New York City in the Government and Institutional Banking group, which provides a wide range of financial services to meet the unique needs of government and not-for-profit organizations. He was the chief credit officer and lead credit strategist for public power utilities across the United States, overseeing a portfolio of $4.5 billion in loans and letters of credit.
Previously, Drake served as a Director at Fitch Ratings in the Residential Mortgage Backed Securities and Public Finance groups, writing and publishing independent credit research on 50 companies annually.
After college and before starting at Fitch Ratings, Drake and his wife Sarah spent two years working for the Fellowship of Christians in Universities and Schools (FOCUS), which helps support Christian ministries at independent schools across New England.
Drake earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Economics with a minor in Chinese language from Trinity College in Hartford, CT. he also holds his FINRA Series 65 and 7. He and Sarah live in Charlestown, MA and have two boys, Draper and George.
