Joseph A. Logrippo is an Independent Wealth Manager with Commonwealth Financial Group. Joe began his career in the financial services industry in 2001 with a prominent mutual fund company in Boston, MA.
For many years he worked alongside institutional and portfolio managers to build a solid foundation in asset management and wealth strategies. Furthermore, he trained financial advisors in the process of selecting mutual funds for retail clients and implementing retirement plans for small and large corporations with a concentration toward physician and legal practices.
After building extensive knowledge in mutual funds and asset management he shifted to the Insurance industry to focus on Retirement Income Planning and Wealth Transfer strategies for the second largest Insurance Company in the World with U.S. operations in New York, NY. Again, he trained financial advisors in case design and insurance contract structure for High Net Worth individuals, private foundations and 501(c) (3) organizations. He focused on structuring insurance contracts within trusts to create predictable and sustainable cash flow for individuals while maximizing wealth transfer to families and charitable organizations.
Joe earned his Bachelors of Science from Boston University in 1998. He has also studied at Suffolk University’s Sawyer School of Management and Harvard’s Extension School. After earning his degree and studies, he enlisted and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and is a decorated war veteran. He holds his Investment Company& Variable Contracts Ltd Representative (Series 6), General Securities Representative (Series 7), Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63) and Uniform Investment Advisor Law (Series 65) registrations with LPL Financial, LLC. He also holds his Life and Variable Insurance license with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
He resides in Boston, MA and is an active member of his community and throughout the metro area participating in various charitable organizations. He is a member of various Veteran and Disabled Veteran Organizations. He spends his time with family and serves the City of Boston's Urban Outreach and School Programs for disadvantaged youth.
