Triangle, Inc. Receives $5,000 Donation From the MassMutual Foundation on Behalf of Commonwealth Financial Group

Triangle, Inc. has received a $5,000 donation from the MassMutual Foundation as part of its national Firm Community Service Award (CSA) program, on behalf of Commonwealth Financial Group (CFG). The program recognizes the volunteer work that CFG has accomplished with Triangle, Inc. in 2022. CFG is extremely proud to partner with the nonprofit and contribute to its mission of empowering people with disabilities and their families to enjoy rich, fulfilling lives.

The funds donated from this year’s awards will support Triangle, Inc.’s Five-Year Strategic Growth Plan, which aims to increase the number of residential homes it operates, optimize its capacity and resources to serve more individuals, and enhance its ability to meet emerging needs in the local disability community.

“By 2027, Triangle will increase its impact and reach an additional 1,000 individuals with disabilities, thanks to the support we’ve received from our longstanding partners, including CFG and MassMutual,” said Coleman Nee, Chief Executive Officer at Triangle, Inc.

Firm CSA winners are selected through a competitive application process, based on a holistic view of the firm’s community engagement strategy and volunteer work with nonprofit organizations. CFG has worked with Triangle, Inc. since 2009. In that time, CFG has helped Triangle, Inc. expand to provide youth and adults with the innovative career, leadership, and safety skills they need to live more independent, dignified lives.

“We are very pleased that our dedication to Triangle has been recognized by the MassMutual Foundation,” said Eric Spindt, Chief Executive Officer at CFG. “This grant will provide much-needed funding to continue supporting Triangle’s innovative and comprehensive programs that provide greater opportunities for employment, empowerment, independence, and community inclusion for people with disabilities.”
