Finseca’s LAMP 2026: A Week of Learning, Leadership, and Recognition
Our team traveled to Nashville, TN for Finseca’s Leaders and Managers Program (LAMP), one of the profession’s most influential gatherings for leadership development, talent strategies, and the future of financial planning. It was an energizing few days filled with insight, connection, and recognition for the work our team is doing every day to elevate the profession.
Mainstage Spotlight: Sharing What High Performance Really Takes
One of the highlights of the conference was seeing Chief Business Development Officer, Sam Philbrook, take the main stage to deliver a session on building high-performing teams. Sam broke down the mechanics behind what many leaders aim for but often struggle to operationalize: consistently cultivating talent through systems, structure, and tactical execution. His approach resonated with the audience and reinforced something we believe deeply at CFG – exceptional teams aren’t built by accident, but by design.
CFG Honored With the Master Agency Award
CFG was honored to receive Finseca’s Master Agency Award, a recognition reserved for firms demonstrating exceptional performance, culture, and advisor development. The award reflects is the strength of our advisors and team members who show up every day committed to professional mastery and client impact. Their dedication is what makes CFG one of the fastest-growing financial planning firms in the region and this award is shared by all of them.
Community Impact Award: Recognizing What Really Matters
Another moment of pride came with receiving Finseca’s Community Impact Award. At CFG, we believe that our success is measured not only by the work we do with clients, but by the positive impact we help create for individuals, families, and the communities around us. This award is a meaningful acknowledgment of the service, volunteerism, and philanthropic initiatives our team champions year-round. It reflects who we are as a firm and the values that drive us forward.
Honoring Exceptional Leadership: Frontline Leader Awards
We also had the privilege of celebrating several of our own as recipients of Finseca’s Frontline Leader Award: Dakota Brizendine, Sam Philbrook, and Meghan Blomberg.
These leaders play a critical role in guiding and mentoring financial advisors through CFG’s Financial Planning Mastery Program. Their commitment to advisor development and client success helps shape the next generation of professionals and strengthens the foundation of our firm. Their recognition is well‑deserved, and we’re proud to see them honored on a national stage.
Looking Ahead: Ideas and Inspiration for the Future
As valuable as the awards and sessions were, some of the most impactful moments came from connecting with leaders across the industry by sharing strategies, comparing challenges, and exploring where the profession is headed next. Our team returned from Nashville with fresh ideas, renewed energy, and a deeper sense of purpose as we continue to evolve our firm and the experience we deliver to clients and advisors.
