MEET PARKER

Parker is the founder and lead advisor of the practice and has built his firm around a commitment to stewardship, education, and long-term client relationships. He joined Commonwealth Financial Group in 2014, drawn to its entrepreneurial model and emphasis on independent, client-first planning. Prior to joining Commonwealth, Parker spent three years with Northwestern Mutual, including two years as an intern and one year full-time.

Parker views his role as more than that of an advisor—he considers himself a steward of his clients’ financial lives. He believes meaningful value is created through education, transparency, and helping clients understand the financial trade-offs and complexities inherent in financial decision-making. By managing his practice with intention and discipline, Parker aims to create clarity, reduce complexity, and drive positive outcomes for the individuals and families he serves.

Parker is a graduate of the Military College of Vermont, where he earned his degree in 2013. That same year, he was recognized as New Advisor of the Year by the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) of Vermont.

Outside of work, Parker enjoys traveling and exploring new places, scuba diving, and staying active through martial arts.

THE PROCESS

  • 1. LISTEN

    First, Nick conducts a thorough assessment of your current situation. He takes you through a set of deep quantitative and qualitative questions to get a clear understanding of your financial goals, concerns, and dreams.

  • 2. GATHER

    Nick then analyzes your investment and risk management portfolios, your business plan, and any other existing arrangements you may have in place to identify potential gaps.

  • 3. DESIGN

    Working closely with our subject matter experts and your existing advisors, Nick designs a financial blueprint that aims to meet your personal and business goals, concerns, and aspirations in an efficient and effective manner.

  • 4. BUILD

    Nick shares recommendations with you and your team, educating you on the rationale behind any potential strategies from a holistic perspective. If you are satisfied with his recommendations, Nick will work with you to implement* your strategies and secure the required products and services to help you reach your goals.

  • 5. SERVE

    Because your financial situation is bound to change, Nick provides ongoing support through periodic reviews. He helps you monitor and adjust your strategies to ensure they continuously meet your personal and business goals.

Krissi (last name) | Relationship Manager

Krissi brings nearly 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong foundation in financial protection, client service, and operational support. Over the past several years, she has expanded her focus into the investment and financial planning space, combining deep insurance expertise with a growing passion for helping individuals build, manage, and protect long-term wealth. She holds both a Series 7 and Series 66 license, allowing her to support advisory teams from both an operational and regulatory perspective.

In her role as Relationship Manager, Krissi is dedicated to creating a seamless and well-organized experience for every client served. She focuses on building strong relationships, anticipating client needs, and ensuring communication is clear, timely, and consistent. Whether clients are new to the planning process or navigating more complex long-term strategies, Krissi provides thoughtful, dependable support at every stage. Her goal is to serve as a steady presence and trusted resource as clients work toward greater financial confidence and clarity.

Originally from Arkansas, Krissi has called Las Vegas home for the past 10 years. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and exploring the outdoors.


Shelly (last name) | Operations Manager

For over a decade, Shelly has been the organizational backbone of Parker’s financial practice, ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly so clients receive an exceptional experience and the advisor can remain focused on delivering strategic financial guidance.

Shelly is known for her attention to detail, reliability, and genuine care for clients. From managing account logistics and coordinating behind-the-scenes workflows to streamlining office processes, she plays a vital role in creating seamless and well-organized client experiences.

Outside of the office, Shelly is a passionate advocate for dog rescue. She volunteers with Passion 4 Paws VT, where she fosters dogs, helps coordinate fundraising initiatives, and supports social media outreach—reflecting a deep and enduring commitment to animal welfare.

Shelly lives in Vermont with her daughter and their foster-fail pup, Pippa.
