Annie Groth received her Certified Family Business Specialist (CFBS) designation from The American College and has over 20 years of experience working with and strategizing for family business owners. Her professional mission and passion is to help business owners understand, build and protect the value of their company while preparing and executing succession/exit plans on their terms. Annie helps owners of medium-sized companies design and implement customized plans and solutions that encompass the family, business and ownership domains of their financial life. This specialized and strategic approach addresses the complex and interrelated nature of business owner concerns. Her practice involves advanced estate planning, business succession planning, executive compensation and benefit plan designs, and retirement planning. As a Registered Representative of MML Investors Services, LLC, she is available to assist you in your individual various financial needs as well as serving as lead representative on select company retirement plans.
Annie began her 20+ year career with The Guardian Life Insurance/Park Avenue Securities. After 8 years, she left to join MassMutual AZ, MassMutual PPG, and now CFG to enhance her abilities and reach for individuals and family businesses.
Annie is a giver…a community leader, advocate, mentor, civil rights champion, powerful speaker and passionate about community service. Annie is deeply committed to leaving the world a better place for all. In 2008, Annie launched her Pearls of Wisdom quarterly event addressing real life problems facing women every day. Annie encourages women to take responsibility for their physical, emotional and spiritual needs through knowledge and education. This event has grown from a modest dozen to now over 100 women in attendance with a growing wait-list of highly esteemed keynote speakers. Women leave Pearls feeling treasured, connected and hopeful for the future.
